Roger Ashley is Chairman, President and CEO of The Evergreen Corporation, a privately held commercial general contracting firm based in Atlanta, Georgia which Mr. Ashley founded in 1993. Prior to forming Evergreen, Mr. Ashley was employed for 17 years with Holder Construction Company, also an Atlanta based commercial builder, serving as its President and CEO from 1986 to 1991.
During his distinguished 30 year professional career Mr. Ashley has constructed buildings of virtually every conceivable type including hotels, high rise buildings, corporate headquarters, sports stadiums, schools, churches, manufacturing facilities, airports and theme parks. Some of his most notable projects include the corporate headquarters of both the Coca Cola Company and Delta Airlines in Atlanta, Raymond James Financial in Florida and Walt Disney World in Orlando. He also built the Georgia Dome NFL stadium in Atlanta, Universal Studios theme park in Orlando, and most recently Mill Creek High School, the largest high school in the State of Georgia.
Over the years, Mr. Ashley has been active in my many charitable, civic and business organizations such as The United Way, The Boy Scouts of America, The Woodruff Arts Center, Associated General Contractors of America and the Northside Youth Organization.
Mr. Ashley was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas, raised in St. Louis, Missouri and is a graduate of The University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture. He also holds a master’s degree in Construction Management from The University of Florida.
Mr. Ashley has lived in Atlanta for over 30 years where he continues to reside with his wife and three children.
